Please let us introduce ourself:

Pabe Sipkema (Manuel) grew up on Terschelling, The Netherlands,
and runs the camping during the season. He enjoys working with people,
and speaks several languages, English, German, Frisian, Dutch and more and more Norwegian.

He brought his old Moto Guzzi to Norway, and he won’t mind to guide guests around here in Telemark, if  “the Boss” gives him a little break….

Norunn Haugholt (the Boss) comes from Bergen,
but has lived here in Telemark for over 25 years. She is now working for Sauherad Kommune.

We both enjoy to meet new people, and we are proud of what Telemark and Norway can offer.
We will do our best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.

We want Lystang Camping to be a good place for you to stay, to relax ,and where you can enjoy the nature around us.
From the camping you can explore Telemark.

While staying here, you may see a beaver in the lake, you can go for a walk up in the hills,
use the canoes, take a bicycleride, or maybe visit the large waterpark in Bø, Sommarland.
Summertime is “festivals”, so why not visit one of the festivals in this area,
like Notodden Blues festival or Telemarkfestivalen?
The choice is yours!

The Camping:

We rent out 6 cabins, all have a separate sleep- and living room,
2 of them are equipped with toilet and hot and cold running water.

Beautiful fields for mobile homes, small caravans and tents.
The camping site is situated on the sunny side of the Telemarkcanal,
with a view upon this canal, which connects the lakes Heddalsvatnet and Norsjø.

Prices for the season 2012.

Caravan, camper, bus – without  electricity : 170,00 Nkr p.n.
Car + tent : 150,00 Nkr p.n.
Motorcycle + tent : 120,00 NkKr p.n.
Bicycle + tent : 120,00 Nkr p.n.
Person : 25,00 Nkr p.n.
Tent / extra tent : 70,00 Nkr / 50,00 Nkr p.n.
Electricity : 50,00 Nkr p.n.
Rentel of bedclothes : 100,00 Nkr pr.set.

Cabins.

Nr 2 : 1 bedroom with two pair of bunks + livingroom with cooking area : 600,00 Nkr p.n.
Nr 3, 4, 5 : 2 bedrooms with a pair of bunks + livingroom with cooking area : 700,00 Nkr p.n.
Nr 6, 7 : 1 bedroom with doublebed + singel bunk bed + sofa bed for two persons in the livingroom,
WC,cooking area, hot / cold water : 850,00 Nkr p.n.

Reception

From the reception we offer you freshly backed mini baguettes every morning,
coffee, icecream and some cold drinks.
Please order, and pay for the baguettes, the evening before.

We have free wireless internet (in the main season from June 1st – ca Sept 1st) in and around the reception,
and if you ask we can give you information about things to do in the neighbourhood.
From the reception we rent out canoes and bicycles to our guests.

We also want to introduce our camping dogs…

Cesar and Goya are “garding” the camping. They keep watch and warn us
when new guests arrive, but they don’t mind visitors on “their property.”
